Experience an abundance of gorilla & wildlife, scenery, cultural community experiences on this dream safari to Uganda. For most people mountain Gorilla trekking and Chimpanzee tracking are the highlight of this safari. There are amazing opportunities of seeing numerous animals like the big Cats, hippos, buffaloes, leopard, elephants, and several species of birds. This Adventure trip will bring you close to nature and culture for the time you will be in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa!

If you are interested in adventure, there is a lot more to explore in Uganda and Kenya. Some of the other activities include; white water rafting and bungee jumping along the world’s longest Nile River, Mountain climbing of Rwenzori (5,109 metres), Mount Kenya (5,199 metres) and Island hopping at Lake Bunyonyi with 29 Islands, trekking in the gorilla highlands among others.

21 Day Kenya – Uganda Wildlife & Gorilla Encounter

Day 1: Arrival at the Airport – Meet and Greet

On arrival at Jommo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by our staff  who will then lead you to your Hotel. Depending on the arrival time, you will check into the Hotel have lunch or dinner and Overnight in preparation for tomorrows start to your Safari. Meal Plan Dinner and Bed

Day 2: Start your road drive to the south of Kenya for a magical experience in Mara 6Hrs

Have Morning breakfast, checkout and we drive south toward through the spectacular Great Rift Valley for some incredible photography shots. We briefly stop at the Masai town of Narok for a quick tour of the town. We continue the scenic drive through rugged masai land inhabited by wild African wildlife, finally arriving at the camp, where we are welcomed by a Masai tribal dance. After a short break and some lunch, we set upon our first late afternoon game drive in the world’s finest wildlife game reserve the “Maasai Mara”. We return to camp for our talented chefs buffet dinner and chat around the fire. After a long day, we retire to our comfortable large permanent tents, for a hot shower and good night’s rest. Day 3: Extended Game drive

Early morning rise at 6.30am have buffet breakfast and coffee, and later we leave the camp for a full day game drive in the Masai Mara and explore the incredible concentration of diverse African wildlife. We are led by expert Masai tracker / driver, the day promises to showcase some of Kenya’s best wildlife including the famous big 5. We take a break for lunch overlooking the great Mara River, made famous by the annual great migration crossing. We return to camp late afternoon for some light refreshments before dinner and a much needed good night’s rest after an action packed day. Meal Plan B.L.D

Day 4: Guided Walking Safari

Early morning breakfast at 7:00 am and later we set off for a walking safari to visit a Maasai village. Here you will enter a Maasai home and discover their way of everyday life. The Maasai warriors will perform a cultural dance, followed by a performance by the colorfully dressed Maasai women. We will visit a new school built through donations from a Sydney fundraiser. We return to camp for lunch and set out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai mara. We return back to camp for a buffet dinner and a good night’s rest. Meal Plan B.L.D

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Naivasha 6 Hrs

Early morning breakfast, check out and start an exciting road drive to Lake Naivasha. Arrival at the lodge, check in have lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon at the hotel enjoying the scenic view of this beautiful. Have Dinner and Over night in preparation for tomorrows road drive to Eldoret.

Day 6: Transfer to Eldoret 8Hrs

Early morning breakfast, checkout and start a road drive transfer to Eldoret passing through the amazing beautiful landscapes and Savannah Vegetation with stopover en route for Lunch and photo experiences.  Late afternoon arrival in Eldoret, have Dinner and Over Night at the lodge

Day 7: Eldoret – Jinja Uganda the source of R. Nile 10Hrs

Early morning breakfast, checkout of the lodge and start the road drive to Uganda crossing the Kenya – Uganda border through Malaba with stopover en route. Have your luggage supervised with more ink added in your passport as you check another country off your bucket list. Late evening arrival in Jinja, check in at the hotel, have Dinner and Overnight.

Day 8: Jinja – Boat Cruise and a visit to the Nile

Have morning breakfast, and later we drive to the Nile. Enjoy a memorable boat cruise along the white waters of R. Nile the longest river in the world, with optional activities of Water Rafting and Bungee jumping etc. Return to the lodge and spend the rest of the evening enjoying the scenic views of this amazing area. Dinner and Overnight

Day 9: Jinja – Kampala 3Hrs

Have morning breakfast, check out and we transfer to Kampala the main capital city of Uganda. Enter the busy city and we make visits to the National museum, Visit Kasubi loyal tombs a UNESCO heritage site and have a feel of the city. Visit the busy markets, make shopping in the craft shops before we drive to the hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the evening admiring the scenic views of this beautiful city. Dinner and overnight. Meal Plan B.L.D

Day 10: Kampala- Murchison falls 7 Hrs

Begin your adventure with an early morning departure to Murchison Falls National Park. Lunch time arrival at the lodge, Check in, have lunch and spend the rest of the evening appreciating the scenic views of the game park. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge. B.L.D

Day 11: Game and Boat Cruise –Murchison falls

This morning, explore the exhilarating beauty of the park by taking a game-drive in the famous Murchison Falls’ vast savannah grasslands on rolling hills located on the North bank of the park. While on this extended game drive expect to see herds of buffaloes, Elephants, Giraffes.  Break for lunch and then take a fabulous relaxing three-hour boat-launch to the bottom of the Falls. Expect to see Nile crocodiles, schools hippos and aquatic bird species.  Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Lodge. B.L.D

Day 12: Murchison falls- Kibale Forest (7hrs)

After breakfast, say goodbye to Murchison and take a long ride over hills, down valleys, through villages and trading centers with lunch en-route to Kibale Forest national park home of the people’s closet relatives- the chimpanzees.  After checking into your lodge, refresh and enjoy Bigodi Swamp nature walk. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge. B.L.D

Day 13: Chimpanzee Tracking – Queen Elizabeth national park (3-4hrs)

Early morning breakfast and join your range for chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest, arguably Africa’s largest surviving hardwood forest. The forest is home to 13 primate species, birds and many other forest animal species. Return for a hot lunch at the lodge, pack your bags in the car and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge. B.L.D

Day 14: Game and Boat –Queen Elizabeth national park

Quench your thirst for adventure this morning as you sacrifice your morning sleep for a sunrise game-drive. Resting for lunch, you then take an afternoon boat-ride on the approximately 33kms long channel “Kazinga Channel” that links Lake George and Lake Edward. The channel is a haven for probably the highest concentration of hippos in Africa and numerous Nile crocodiles as well as a rich bird-life that flourishes on the banks. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge. B.L.D

Day 15: Queen Elizabeth- Bwindi

An early breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via the Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth National Park for an opportunity for lucky visitors to spot the famous tree-climbing lions, often seen languishing in Fig trees. Dinner and Overnight Lodge. B.L.D

Day 16: Gorilla trekking

Loaded with drinking water, a packed lunch and a walking stick, attend an early morning briefing by the Park Ranger. Enter the Gorilla Sanctuary to exploit your long awaited moment to encounter the World’s most endangered primate species. Dinner and Overnight Lodge. B.L.D

Day 17: Bwindi- Lake Bunyonyi (4hrs)

Sadly exit Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, check in have lunch, prepare for a boat cruise on the calm waters of this lake and later spend the rest of the evening admiring the stunning views of this lake. Dinner and over night at Lodge. B.L.D

Day 18: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo (5-6 hrs.)

After breakfast we depart the magnificent lake Bunyonyi and head to Lake Mburo National Park. As we enter the park it is likely that you will spot some wildlife. After checking have lunch and spend the rest of the evening at your lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge. B.L.D

Day 19: Game Drive –Transfer to Igongo Cultural Centre

Wake up early morning and embark on a well guided game drive across the park. While on this game drive expect to see herds of Zebras, buffaloes, Baboons, impalas, bird species. Return to the lodge, have breakfast and later we check out. Transfer to Igongo Cultural center for a cultural and community experience. Dinner and over night at Lodge. B.L.D

Day 20: Cultural and Community Experience

Have morning breakfast and we later drive to the communities of Nyabuhama and Rwenjeru where we get to spend time with the children of our project. Return in time for lunch and later visit the cultural museum at Igongo. Dinner and over night at the hotel. B.L.D

Day 21: Departure

Early morning breakfast, check out and start a road transfer back to Entebbe International Airport with a stopover at the equator for lunch and photo experience. We later drive directly to Entebbe Airport arriving late afternoon depending on the time of your flight. Say bye bye to this beautiful country after a memorable 21 days in East Africa. Meal Plan B.L
