Tour Overview

This tour takes you to Uganda’s smallest Savannah national park with a total 370km2. The park is a home to over 350 bird species as well as Zebra, eland, impala, buffalo, oribi, leopard, defassa waterbuck, hippopotamus, hyena, Topi, reedbuck and giraffes.

3 Day Lake Mburo Trekking and Wildlife Safari – Uganda

Day 1: Entebbe – Lake Mburo

This morning you’ll meet up with your guide and head off to the Lake Mburo. The drive will be about 4 to 5 hours. Stop at the Equator and marvel at the amazing illustrations by a local guide. Proceed to Lake Mburo arriving late in the afternoon and spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Rwankobo lodge. B.L.D

Day 2: Extended Game Drive – Boat cruise on Lake MburoÂ

Have morning breakfast and later we drive for a morning 4-5 hours of game drive. Here expect to see warthogs, buffaloes, Topi, impalas, duikers, bushbucks, waterbucks, giraffes and zebras. Return to the lodge, have lunch and we go for a boat trip. Here expect to see species of birds, Hippos and other species of animals. The calmness of the lake with animals coming to drink water is another memorable experience. Return to the lodge and relax till evening. Later in the evening you can opt for a night game drive, cultural experience, birding or cycling into the park. Dinner and Overnight at the  lodge. B.L.D

Day 3: Safari on foot – Departure

In the morning, we will go for Safari on foot. Lake Mburo is the only park in Uganda where you can take a safari on foot. Expect to see, Impalas, Zebras, Elands only to mention but a few. Return to the lodge, pack your luggage in the car and enjoy your scenic drive to back. You will stop at the equator for pictures and later continue to Kampala / Entebbe.

The trip will start from Entebbe or Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park and End in Entebbe or Kampala.
